So, like...

Oh, hey Dad...
So, like, I haven't blogged in a while. I've been busy giving mom a hard time. Mom's all like "I'm tired. Its four am! Aragh!" and I'm all like "That's cool so let's hang out because well HEY MOM, so like can we just like oh that's cool because I like hanging out because y'know like...and stuff"
Mom and I have been busy...and its been raining like every day. Which is gross. Rain means I have to have a blanket draped on my stroller and I can't see anything so I pretty much whine the whole time. So that's not cool.
We have been cleaning my room a lot too. We threw out some trash, and moved some stuff around, and stuff. Its getting better...
Also we have been working on a show with Jen...again. This one is about Jews! Its been kinda hard to design costumes....in the rain....with a stroller...and an umbrella. We did take the stroller to Manhattan the other day and it was cool because all these guys carried me around for mom. There was even two sailors! I pretty much slept through that though...
DAD! Ever since we Skyped, I have been really excited about watching stuff on the laptop! Now when we wake up mom and I watch a music video and dance to get our day started. Its...its pretty cool. I'm getting to be a great dancer. I also love to watch videos of myself being cute. I pretty much laugh the whole time and stuff.
Well that is all for now, but I am including some pictures of stuff I've been up to...and stuff...
Love you Dad!

Days 6 and 7: Double Rainbows

DAD! Oh, hey Dad.
Stuff. Is. Happening.
The past few days have been rough. I have been learning a lot of new stuff and checking out the world and, Dad, it is a crazy place. Yesterday we saw a double rainbow. It was awesome.

Wow!
Today was so much better than the past week. We went to breastfeeding class for the first time in a long time. There is a new baby, James and he is only six weeks old but already as big as me! Woah! We talked all about where everyone is going on vacations, and growth spurts, and bottles. I was so into it until I was totally overcome with it all and spontaneously fell asleep! Later Mom and I stopped in Baby Gap...which was a terrible idea...but, Dad, we got a swimsuit for me and it is priceless!
Shut.Up.
How's that for cute? Am I right?! I mean, HELLO!!!

So, like, last night, I slept swaddle-free with Mom. It was awesome! I slept really well and I got to sleep in whatever weird configuration I wanted. I went with this one:
check out those thighs!
Oh Dad. We miss you. SO much is happening and changing and we wish you were here. Did you know its Father's Day soon? Well it is! Mom and I ordered presents for my Grandpas and we hope they come in the mail in time! It will be your first Father's Day, and let me just say between you and me...you're doing a really good job. Yeah, you're pretty cool.

Ok Dad. It's getting late. I'm going to try to go to bed...maybe. I'll put some videos on Facebook for you...

Love you Dad!

Days 4 and 5: Growth Spurt

Oh hey Dad.
Apparently I am going through some kind of crazy life moment and stuff. I have been learning and doing new things like crazy. For instance, today I took a nose dive out of my Bumbo seat. It was not cool. I landed on some plastic chains and stuff and I did not like it. In cooler news, I went on a really long walk with Mom today where I debuted my new sitting position for the stroller:

That's right. I'm all laid back and stuff. Just propping my leg up cus I'm so relaxed. It's...it's pretty cool.
My other new trick is raspberries. I love them. I'm good at them. I do them instead of sleeping. It's pretty cool. Check some out:

Yeah. It's pretty cool.
I'm giving mom a real hard time. It looks a lot like this:

But then there are moments when I look like this:
And it totally makes it worth it! Right Mom? Mom? Mom?! Where did she go?.......
Ok Dad. It's late...but I'm still up! Yay!

Day Three: Success

Oh hey Dad!
DAD! I did it. I actually did it! Check it out:

I'd like to thank everyone who made getting my foot into my mouth possible; you, mom, some cats, the other baby in the mirror who looks just like me...thanks guys!

Today Mom and I had a production meeting. I took this opportunity to throw up on many things belonging to Jen at her apartment including, but not limited to, Jen herself. Hard work. It was super rainy in New York today. It is extra difficult to navigate the subway with me and a diaper bag and an umbrella, but (and I'm not just saying this because she's mine) Mom is a champ.

Today I had many ideas for stuff to do when you get back. The zoo. The Met. The Austrian Art Museum ('cus I am majorly into Austrian art obviously). Let's do it! In preparation, Mom bought me two sun hats to protect my giant head. One has a stingray on it!

White Sun Hat
I like stingrays!

I was admittedly very crabby today. I have been really clingy to Mom lately. I just want to snuggle all the time. And I can't fall asleep unless I eat while doing it. I think this is making Mom tired. Luckily I am super cute.
So like, in closing, Mom and I were hoodie twins today. All we were missing was one more red hoodie...do you know someone with one?!
Hoodie twins!
Hope you're having fun, Dad. We miss you!
Love,
Sly

Day Two

So, like, here's the deal, right...
Today started off rough. Mom was sad last night because she missed you, so I decided to wake up about two hundred times so she wouldn't feel lonely. Nice job, huh? Anyway. The morning was long. But seriously, Dad...

Feet. I got em and I wanna eat em. They are so close to me and yet elude me. They have been causing me some severe stress today as is immortalized here:

I know, right? Hard work.

Today mom and I and our friend Dave went to the park. We saw a lot of dogs. Dogs are pretty much like bigger cats, so that's cool. It rained on us, which I thought was funny. I reacted to be rained on like I do to getting in the bath...first its scary and then...its pretty cool.
Ok Dad. We miss you and love you.
Love,
Sly

Day One

Oh, hey Dad!

So you wet away today on a trip for work, huh? That's pretty cool. Mom and I pretty much chilled all day. We washed some nasty cat-smellin' rugs and went to CVS to get batteries for my swing. That was the extent of our travels.
I kind of thought maybe you'd like to know what we...more me...but we are up to while you're away. I promise to try to not get too big or anything without you.
If you miss me, picture my wrist...its pretty fat. It looks like this:
I sure could've used one of your stories tonight. I hope you're having fun. We love you lots and miss you!
